I AM
Silvano. There was a time when the world was the color of wet iron and filled with the sound of lingering silences. In that time, his name was silvano. It was a name he wore like a coat two sizes too big: heavy, cumbersome, inherited from a family history made of absences and wounds that showed no sign of healing. Silvano moved through the folds of his life with an invisible conviction that he deserved nothing. He walked close to the walls of his own ambitions, convinced that success or beauty were rooms reserved for others—those who had stronger roots or easier smiles. He believed the good life was only meant for those who were born with it, in better families. The only light in that labyrinth of mistrust was silvana, his sister; the only one who shared the same code of pain and the same silent desire to become someone else. They were two shadows searching for the sun, yet convinced the sun had forgotten them.

Who i am. The crack in the wall appeared in the form of a small piece of paper: ticket number 5. It wasn't just a win at an event; it was an interference of fate. When that number was called, Silvano’s silence broke. A trip to Phuket, Thailand. For the first time, life wasn’t taking something away, but offering a gift without asking for anything in return. In this phase, he went about with different names, an unconscious way to break out of the familiar, going from Silvano to Selva, a more creative expression of what he wasn’t allowed to have or be growing up. During that journey, amidst the scent of incense and the vibrant chaos of the landscape, the transformation deepened. He looked at himself in the mirror at a 5-star resort in Phuket and realized he was able to have this experience because he had regained trust in the universe. He understood that he was loved, and because the universe loved him, he allowed himself to love himself more and to reward himself too; he was finally able to accept that he also matters and deserves this gift. He understood that "divine goodness" was not an abstract concept, but a flow in which he could finally immerse himself. It was there, between the northern forests and golden temples, that the armor fell to the ground. After another emotionally devastating event, Todo was born. Todo stands also for to-do, taking actions regardless of the discomfort involved. In that fertile void, the realization was born that the past was not a sentence, but a prelude.

Today, if you meet him in the streets of Bali or immersed in the warm light of a sunset in Canggu, you will find no trace of Silvano. Today, there is Todo. He chose this name because he wanted everything (todo): all the enthusiasm, all the beauty, all the life that had been denied to him. Now he lives his reality as a digital nomad, transforming ideas into images through his work as a graphic designer, but his true masterpiece is gratitude. Todo has not only eliminated his fear of the world; he has transmuted it into a mission. He has become a radiant example for anyone who crosses his path, transmitting an infectious positivity made of authentic smiles, profound kindness, and a sacred respect for every form of life. Bali is the biggest gift he has offered himself by himself as a sign of love and appreciation for the pain all the parts have endured and for the pain we have inflicted to ourselves unconsciously. I wanted to make sure i do something to alleviate that pain and show respect and love for everything.

His story reminds us that in existence, there are countless ways out of unhappiness. Even when you hit rock bottom and the darkness seems absolute, you must never stop having faith in yourself. Determination, believing fiercement in your own abilities, and facing each new day with energy are the keys that open every lock. There always exists, in some fold of destiny, a path that leads to your own happiness: you only need the courage to start walking.
